Truss manipulator application
Application field
Mechanical processing: On CNC machine tools, machining centers and other equipment, truss manipulators are used for automatic loading and unloading of workpieces, reducing manual intervention and improving processing efficiency and quality.
Automobile manufacturing: Used for the handling and assembly of automobile parts to improve the level of production automation.
Electronic product manufacturing: Used for the precise handling and assembly of electronic components and circuit boards to ensure production quality and consistency.
Warehousing and logistics: Automatically pick, carry and stack goods in warehouses to improve logistics efficiency and accuracy.
New Energy Industry: In the solar photovoltaic production line, the truss manipulator is responsible for the automatic handling and loading and unloading of the crystal tray, improving the automation level of the production line.
Structural characteristics and working principle
The truss manipulator is usually composed of six parts: structural frame, X-axis assembly, Y-axis assembly, Z-axis assembly, fixture and control cabinet. The structural frame is mainly composed of structural parts such as columns. The X-axis assembly, Y-axis assembly and Z-axis assembly are core components, following the Cartesian coordinate system rules. Through the instructions of the control system, the motor and transmission device are driven to enable the manipulator to move, grab, and carry on the gantry to achieve automatic loading, unloading, handling and processing of workpieces.
Advantages:
Efficient automation: Reduce manual intervention and improve production efficiency and accuracy.
High stability: The structure is stable and suitable for long-term continuous work.
Strong adaptability: Applicable to a variety of industrial scenarios to meet different production needs.
Disadvantages:
High cost: Large initial investment.
Complex maintenance: Maintenance and troubleshooting are relatively complex.
Limited flexibility: Compared with robots, they are less flexible and suitable for fixed path operations
